• The product is a table lamp designed for a restaurant which combines cinema with fine dining. The purpose of the lamp is to enhance the guest's experience.

• Nearly 43% of all restaurant customers say they take into account, not just the food, but all aspects of a dining experience when determining if a restaurant is good value.

• This idea involves a light fluctuating in brightness to alert the guests at table that food is arriving and the movie is starting. It has been influenced by restaurant pagers.

• The aesthetic of the light has been influenced by film due to the product's location. The globe feature has been influenced by the famous Universal Studio's Earth icon, and the stem of the light has been influenced by the fantasy film genre, e.g. 'The Lord of the Rings'.
