Brief

• Exploring the physical properties of a material with a specific function.
• Investigating ways of folding, bending, fixing, holding, joining and connecting a sheet of material.
• This project involves designing and making a pendant light that can be reproduced efficiently in a larger production run.
• The light is made from a single sheet of polypropylene (dimensions: 1100mm x 655mm x 80 microns).
• The aim is to explore both the structural and aesthetic properties of a material.
