LED Lighting

Brief

• The limiting of the pallet of materials available to a designer, far from restraining the creative process, can give it a focus and encourage an in depth understanding of a range of design issues.
• 'Messing' with what people think of a material and/or process is an opportunity to seek new knowledge about how things are made and used.
•  The aim of this project is to design and make a bedside LED light. The purpose being to explore the introduction into LED technology and make models which arrive at a final prototype that shows an investigation of physical interaction.
• The light is turned on/off simply with switch which rotates around the base of the light. The microswitch inside the base makes a very satisfying click meaning there is an effective user-friendly physical interaction.
